Revelation 13 verses 16 to 18

Revelation 13:16-18  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his
name Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his
number is Six hundred three score and six.

Six hundred three score and six. Since a score is the old English word for 20, the calculation gives us 600 and 60 and 6 or 666.

This particular prophecy has not yet been completely fulfilled.

BUT…, the system (the global economy) and method the beast (the Antichrist) may use has already been developed through advanced technologies. Soon a world leader will rise up from the European Community and take control of our global problems, both political and economic.

Something must take place on a global scale to facilitate his rise to power. First there must be the formation of a one world government, which has already begun. The one world government will impose the control system described in Revelation 13 above. It’s not just that the financial transactions of the world will be totally under the inspection of the system, but that no one can operate financially outside the system. To be part of the system, each citizen of every nation will have to receive a mark in his forehead or in his hand as part of the personal identification required on registration. To receive the mark, it will be necessary to worship the “beast” (the anti-Christ, the man of sin). Then will be fulfilled the following prophecy:

Revelation 14:9-11  And the third angel followed them, crying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and who soever receiveth the mark of his name.

The wrath of God will be fierce and fearsome indeed.

Revelation 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

What if an individual refuses to take the mark? then the prophecy above says that he will be beheaded by the government.

During that worst of times, either an individual succumbs to the pressure of the system, and undergoes the fierce wrath of God, or refuses to relent to the pressure, and undergoes the wrath of the “beast”. However, these latter will be the fortunate ones, as they will be resurrected, assigned thrones, and they will live and reign with Christ for a thousand years (the Millennium).

Those, however who were raptured before the start of the Tribulation will return as part of the army of God who will destroy the evil system…

Revelation 19:19  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: …
