Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Essentially the same meaning is found in Mark 10:27
Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
In life, oftentimes situations arise when something is impossible for us, or for others, in the natural.
It may a case of a disease that is incurable.
Or it maybe that necessary expenses are much higher than our income, so that we have to borrow, with no ability to pay back! This is the case with many in today’s debt-ridden world, and the great economic meltdown going on around the world.
Perhaps a loved one is unsaved, and you’ve done all you know to do to bring the person to the point of conversion. But he (or she) stubbornly remains in unbelief. How to reach out to such an obstinate one? You can’t see any way to evangelize him or her effectively.
Maybe you have a ministry, and need more money than you have to even hire a meeting hall.
You are tempted to borrow or raise funds, but you have read about the exampleof Georg Mueller and won’t to minister and live by faith. Yet it seems impossible to do so in today’s world.
God speaks to all such situations and more, when He says, “With man this is impossible, but with God …”
Ah, with God …
“With God all things are possible.”
