Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
This is an amazing statement.
We know that with God all things are possible. Jesus said this in Matthew 19:26, and in Mark 10:27.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus spoke to His Father.
“Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless, not what I will, but what thou wilt.”
But in Mark 9:23, Jesus declares that “all things are possible to him that believeth.” Incredible, if Jesus hadn’t said so Himself!
The believer is as omnipotent as God?
Yes, Jesus said that if he can believe God for something, he will have it.
However, note that it isn’t enough to say that we believe God for a specific thing.
We must actually believe. God is not deceived.
