1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
This is an amazing verse, and gives us the key to making God our dwelling place, and ourselves God’s dwelling place!
The key is simplicity itself. The key is to confess that Jesus is the Son of God.
Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, can know two things:
- God is living in him.
- He is living in God.
It’s as wonderful, and as simple, as that.
With our “works mentality”, we want to do something to make these things happen. We want to earn these blessings.
But God makes it simple for us, so simple, it couldn’t be simpler!
But the question is: Do we believe it?
In the words of Scripture, “Believest thou this?” (John 11:26.)
