Mark 1 verse 35

Mark 1:35  And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

As believers and disciples, we should follow the example of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. He lived a life of prayer, and He consistently went to a solitary place to pray.

Jesus the Messiah was a man of prayer, constantly in touch with His Father.

As believers and disciples, withdrawing from the crowd to a solitary place to be alone with the Father will result in the greater works spoken of by Jesus.

Eternity - Story of Arthur Stace

Story of Arthur Stace, Graffiti Preacher

Arthur Stace was an Australian,
born into a life of hopelessness, at the turn of the century (in the 1900s).
His life was that of a bum filled with petty crime and alcoholism
between the First World War and the Great Depression.

All this changed when he met Jesus on August 6, 1930,
and soon afterward heard his pastor cry,
"I wish I could shout ETERNITY through all the streets of Sydney!"

Habbakuk 2:1-2

2  And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Eating a book

Revelation 10:9  And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10  And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
